Symptoms and signs: Pain in Joints and Muscles:

WIND: Slightly inflamed joints and muscles, migratory pain, difficulty moving, fever, aversion to wind.

COLD: Localized pain in a specific joint and muscle, with difficulty moving, usually unilateral, worsens with cold and rest, relieved by movement and heat.

DAMPNESS: Fixed, tender pain, edema of muscles and joints, discomfort with a feeling of heaviness, tingling in the limbs, aggravated by humid weather (especially in the fingers).

Cold, Windy, Damp: Edema and stiffness in the morning joints, pain with a fixed location, limited movement, sensation of heaviness, aversion to cold in the affected joints, aggravated by cold and dampness, relieved by heat.

Tongue: pale, swollen.

Coating: thin, white.

Pulse: superficial, slippery, tense.
